Easter 2014 Services

Join us this Lenten Season for our Easter worship services:

Palm Sunday: April 13th, 2014 – 9am
Once again our worship will begin with excitement as we recall and come to an understanding of Jesus’ triumphal entry into Jerusalem. As the service progresses, we will hear the rest of the story that leads to the crucifixion of Jesus. the worship will end in darkness.

Holy Thursday: April 17th, 2014 – 6:30pm
Andrews and Trinity will combine for this worship that will be held at Trinity. There will be a supper at 6:00pm and at 7:00pm the worship will begin on the lower level of Trinity. (For those unfamiliar, the lower level entrance is from the parking area behind the church) . From there we will climb to the upper room, prepare to enter the upper room, and then worship. The Last Supper will be re-enacted, and then will dramatically end outdoors.

Good Friday: April 18th, 2014 – 7pm
Andrews and Trinity will combine for this worship that will be held at Andrews. This worship will have much music. The music will be from Godspell, Jesus Christ Superstar, and other selections. The worship will end with the symbolic crucifixion of Jesus.

Easter Sunday: April 20th, 2014 – 9am
We will celebrate Easter with a darkened sanctuary that will come to live as the story is shared and we begin to understand what it all means in 2014.

This is a great season to invite friends and family to worship and to relive the story so it can be incorporated into our lives. It is is a time to say farewell to the confines of winter, complacency, and the things of this world that keep us from living as God would have us.
